Rental Agreement

⚠️ Important (identity verification is required by our insurance provider):  We place great importance on ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and secure stay that aligns with the details provided in our listing. To safeguard our property and enhance your experience, we have partnered with Guesty for Host, a trusted leader in guest-screening services through Guesty.


To proceed with your booking, we kindly request you to verify your details via the inquiry section under ABOUT US. You can also securely enter basic contact information such as your name, address, email, date of birth, phone number, how many pet(s) will join the trip (if applicable), and additional information during the booking process. By completing the checkout process, you are confirming your agreement to our house rules, pet, cancellation, and refund policies.


▻ You will be required to provide a government photo ID via e-mail at the time of booking AND you’ll receive a link to digitally sign our rental agreement after booking.

▻ A $1,000 security deposit is collected 72 hours prior to check in as a hold on the credit card used for booking.

If, at the end of the rental period, the rental property is returned undamaged beyond normal wear and tear, the Security Deposit will be released in full within five (5) business days.


▻ The initial charge will block the calendar dates, however the identity verification and signed rental agreement must be completed immediately after booking to confirm the reservation.


This streamlined process enables us to accurately identify and prevent any potential fraudulent activities, ensuring a safe environment for all our guests. Thank you for understanding!

Pet Policy

We welcome your furry friends to our pet-friendly cabin. We adore cats and we are also cat parents ourselves, but cats are not permitted in the cabin - we want to ensure that guests who have cat allergies can continue to enjoy it. If you plan to bring your dog(s) during your stay, kindly inform us of the number of dogs you intend to bring under “notes” in the booking process. We would like to remind you that there is a non refundable pet fee of $95 PER PET, which will be deducted from your security deposit. We welcome dogs of any breed but must be potty-trained and crate-trained. Pets must be approved in advance.


Please be aware that any unauthorized animals found on the premises will result in a forfeiture of the security deposit, in addition to potential additional charges.

Cancellation Policy

⚠️ Reservations may be canceled or changed by notifying management in writing at least 45 calendar days prior to the arrival date (“Cancellation Period”) for a full refund, less 6% for credit card processing fees.


⚠️ If 100% payment is not received at least 45 days prior to the arrival date the reservation will be canceled for a full refund less 6% for credit card processing fees. It is solely the Guest's responsibility to ensure 100% payment is received by the Host in the required timeline.


⚠️ In the event of cancellations or shortened stays made after the Cancellation Period, Guest will be responsible for the full amount of the total booking charges, conditions and restrictions may apply.


⚠️ Any and all changes will incur a 6% credit card processing fee to include instances when a reservation is canceled due to Guest's failure to correctly execute/provide identity verification documents/rental agreement.


⚠️ It is highly recommended guest purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance in case of family emergencies, funerals, bad weather delays, flight/rental car cancellations, job loss, snow/ice, Covid-19 bans/restrictions, early departures, etc. If you live in an area prone to hurricanes, forest fires, etc. and cannot make your trip, please seek reimbursement through your travel insurance.

⚠️ No changes/refunds due to illness/fear of heights/mountain road conditions/ inclement weather/natural disasters/power or internet outages/acts of God/events beyond the host's control. No refunds are given unless there is a mandatory evacuation in our area.


⚠️ Guests are required to report any issues with cleanliness, items in need of repair, or disruptions to their stay or comfort during their stay to provide the host time to correct the issue. No refunds will be considered for anything reported after checkout.


⚠️ If the signed rental agreement, government photo ID, and identity verification are not received promptly, the dates will be released and your payment will be refunded less 6% of the total charges for credit card processing fees.
